Project “FinNet” is implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021–2026 and is financed by European Union funds through the NextGenerationEU instrument.
On 17 December 2025, the contracts for funding institutional research projects were formally signed in the Library of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Zagreb.
At the project team meeting held on 11 March 2026, the team reviewed the progress of project activities so far and agreed on more detailed plans for the rest of the year, with the aim of further aligning work and project implementation.
The paper "Ridge Regularization or Weight Constraints? Portfolio Optimization in a Small Frontier Market" by Silvija Vlah Jerić, Margareta Gardijan Kedžo and Zrinka Lovretin Golubić has been published in the EFZG Working Papers series.
At the 21st International Conference on Operational Research KOI 2026, held in Brela from 23 to 25 September and organised by the Croatian Operational Research Society, we presented the FinNet project and two papers developed within it:
